"The want of plenty distracted you "

So, which road should I choose now?

Pemergiannya diiringi ramai

Sunday, September 19, 2010
Dek kerana kepenatan semalam (sebab baru balik dr Kelantan)
Saya tak sedar mesej masuk seawal pukul 8.00++am
Rupanya, sahabat baik saya cuba memberitahu saya
bahawa murobbi kami sudah nazak...

Saya hanya tersedar bila dua lagi mesej masuk
pada pukul 10.00++am selepas itu..

Breaking Fast
Alhamdulillah...
Yesterday I went to my aunt's house near Raintree Club to break fast together with my friends. At first, we only decided to eat, perform Maghrib, Isya' and Tarawih prayer together and go back home.

But when my aunt start to story about her experience performing Tahajud prayer at Masjid As-Syakirin with her family, we all got excited.
Wishing to join them too!

Luckily, she and her family was planning to go again in that morning (early morning; at 2.30-3.00am).
How great was that?!
Our wish finally came true!

Mandy Rice
So, after breaking fast, finishing all the prayers, we went to bed as early as we can in order to help us to get up easily. Because we want to prepare Mandy Rice for sahur. (Well, the Mandy Rice is already half done before we went to bed. The only thing that was left to do is to cook the rice and grill the chicken)

My aunt woke us up at 1.00am++ to get shower. Then we help her to prepare Mandy Rice together. Almost at 2.45am, we departed to KLCC!

KLCC in Early Morning
This is the first time I got to see KL early in the morning....
Less people, less cars+buses+motorcycles and no honking noises. But I saw some people were dining-in at the restaurant along the roads. Maybe their having sahur?? (I guess..early sahur?)
I snap some pictures with my handphone camera, but sadly to say, my hp camera doesn't has enough megapixels...
Thus, the images are not that beautiful...
So, I decided not to post them here.... =P

Praying in Congregation
A wonderful experience indeed!
Praying+having sahur in congregation did increase your spirit (and appetite of course! As a result, I went to toilet 3 times!)
We met some friends there, and invite them to join us to taste our Mandy Rice... =)
***************

After sahur, we head back to my aunt's house and perform Subh prayer. We decided not to wait to perform Subh prayer at the Masjid because we don't want to go for a long queue to wait for our turn to make ablution.
But we still perform the prayer in congregation (and I was the Imam Muda! Oppsss...the Makmums are all female okey!)
Hehehehehehe =D

Then, at almost 8.30-8.45am, we head back home. I drop my friend (aka my junior in high school) at Taman Midah, near HUKM and successfully find my way back home!

Alhamdulillah! (for guiding my way back, I thought of spreading the breadcrumb like Hansel and Gretel  though)
And thanks to my aunt's artistic drawing too! (she drew a map so that I won't get lost)

~Peace~

Semester End; So is My Work

Friday, September 3, 2010

'Please remember to submit your assignment''
'Bla..bla...bla...'
'And don't forget to study for your final'
'Pot..pet..pot....pet...I balik kampung mama.. Eh, jom main mercun malam ni sebelum cuti..'

Hmmmm....
I know, at this point they will never hear what I've said...
Everybody is busy discussing what color is their baju raya, how many pairs do they have this year, where are they heading to- kampung mama or papa...?
Yada...yada...

Hahahahahaaa....
This reminds me of my life as a student.

  • Burning the midnight oil to finish the assignments before the Hari Raya holiday.
  • Wash all the clothes, bedsheets, pillow cases and what not.
  • Buy some kuih raya.. (the one that I like only)
  • And then, ready to head home!

Yeayyyy!
(Eleh, macam la jauh benor umah kamu tu cik kak oiii..)

I don't care..
Whether  near or far, that's not the issue...
The issue is about the feeling of excitement after finishing all the loads during that particular semester, and cruise back home and spend the remaining month of Ramadhan with our family and clans!
That is the issue that I'm trying to highlight here!

For me, usually it is hard to go back home (when I'm in the middle of studying+..... +...)
The workload is too much... (and I know I'm a kind of person who will NOT going to open my books/notes if I am at home)
Coz when Ramadhan comes, the class hour will be so fast and shorter than usual..
Thus, we need to speed up in order to finish the syllabus..
(No night class - Night class will be cancelled to allow us to perform tarawih. All class must end at 5.00/5.30pm - at most. To let the students and lecturer to prepare themselves to break fast)

Therefore, I forgive all of you my dear students...
For not paying attention...
Coz I understand, I was once like you all before...
But, I still need your assignment!
(this one, no compromise..)

Happy holiday and Eid Mubarak!  =)
