Mimi Al-arabiy

I was impressed when first time I heard my 5 y.o niece recite some hadith that she memorize in her school [pre-school perhaps].

There are all 10 hadith that she can recite!
Amazing for me coz when I was in her age, I don't remember I can recite any hadith [even the word hadith itself I never heard I guess... ... ...]
So, its kinda challenge to her two big sisters. Esp the eldest  ;-D

And for my 3rd niece herself, it is something that she is so proud of! [which makes her repeating all the 10 hadith all the time ~with a loud voice!]

It increasing the jealousy of her other siblings and perhaps some headache to the elders [i.e. grandpa+grandma+uncles+aunties+umi+abah]

One funny incident is when she was reciting one of the hadith [I forgot which number] that talks about seating properly while eating and drinking.
At that time she was at the kitchen holding something in her hand--eating, walking around; back and forth in the kitchen non-stop.

I was laughing at her and she asked why?
I replied, "Try to listen to what you've said. Don't drink or eat while you are standing... And see what you are doing right now.."
She just replied with a big grin on her face.

A part of memorizing the hadith, she also know some of the simple Arabic words and terms.
Like for example, animals' name, family members, body parts and etc.

One day, I took her and her little brother for a ride.
The CD was on, and one of my favourite songs was playing.
The singer starts the song with the word 'Unaadeekum! ashuddu 3ala hayatikum'
And the same phrase was repeated several time throughout the entire song.

My niece was very occupied with the song, she stood still.
Until the singer sings that particular part again...
'Unaadeekum! ... ... ...'
She then immediately replied 'Ayam Jantan!' [meaning rooster]
I was blur for a moment, then she repeated, 'Deekun = Ayam Jantan'

Gulp!
LOL!
**I laugh my heart out.**

Then I explained to her.
"Aimi, the singer said 'Unaadeekum' NOT 'Deekun'
It's different. Not the rooster..."
"Then what is it?" she asked.
"The singer is calling upon us the believers"
"OooOOoooo"

Hmmmm, not really sure if she R.E.A.L.L.Y understand.
Haha...
Well, at least she has good ears and attention, doesn't she?

Cinta Muka Udang

Sedang orang sibuk melayan lagu 'Cinta Muka Buku' yang sedang top sekarang ini, mari saya beritahu anda tentang satu cerita bertajuk 'Cinta Muka Udang'...

Pada suatu hari dalam hari-hari yang berlalu pada tahun lalu, saya bersama anak sedara yang (kegemarannya ialah makanan) pergi berjalan-jalan bersama umminya...
Hajat utama, semestinya untuk makan memandangkan waktu itu waktu tengah hari...

Kami bertiga pun singgahlah di satu kedai dalam JJ balakong untuk menikmati hidangan tengah hari. Mujur pakej makan tengah hari masih lagi boleh di pesan, jadi, jimatlah sikit...huhu

Saya memesan nasi ayam, Dina memesan nasi goreng satay dan umminya pula memesan mee tomyam...
Hidangan Dina yang paling lambat sampai (sebab saya rasa orang tu lupa nak buat... )
Makanya, dia meng'pow' umminya punya tomyam...

Seperti biasa, dia akan berkata "Eemmmmm, sedaplah ummi..." sambil makan dengan bersungguh-sungguh (lupa yang itu adalah kepunyaan umminya... :-P )
Sampailah umminya berkata "Sudahlah tu, nanti awak tak makan yang awak pesan, yang ini ummi punya, Dina tunggu kejap ye, nanti abang tu bawakan nasi Dina"
"Ok.."

Tapi disebabkan mereka itu lupa untuk membuat pesanan si Dina, maka Dina pun terus mengenden umminya punya tomyam...

Dalam mee tomyam itu terdapat seekor udang yang sangat besar... Dina meminta izin untuk mengambil udang tersebut...
"Ummi, Dina nak udang ni boleh.."
"Hmmm, ambilllah...." sambil umminya mematahkan kepala udang tersebut dan mengopek kulitnya untuk memudahkan Dina makan.
"Nah, makan elok-elok"

Dengan gembira, Dina pun ambil. Tapi dia jadi pelik, "Kenapa udang ni jadi kecil? Tadikan besar.."
Umminya pun menjawab "Tadi besar sebab ada kepala dia sekali..."
"Ye ke...Kenapa buang?"
"Ish, orang tak makan la kepala dia...tak elok"
"Okey" sambil tersengih-sengih Dina menjawab.

Beberapa minit selepas itu, (setelah habis udang tadi dimakan), Dina pun bersuara...
"Ummi.. kalau saya nak makan juga MUKA UDANG tadi tu boleh tak??"

Saya yang sedang minum air hampir tersembur dek pertanyaan Dina...
MUKA UDANG??? KEPALA UDANGLAH! Hahahahahaha....
Maaf, tak dapat tahan ketawa Dina... kesian Dina.. 'blurrr' sekejap..
Umminya pun menahan-nahan diri dari menampakkan dirinya juga sedang ketawa, takut Dina merajuk...

~Muka Udang Besar~

"Hmmmmm...ambillah 'Muka Udang ' ni, kalau rasa Dina boleh makan, Dina makanlah..."
Dina tersenyum gembira :-D

p/s:  Sukaaaaa 'Ciiiintaaaa' betul Dina pada udang, sampai muka-muka udang tu pun Dina nak makan... Ngeh3

Huhuhu, semester pertama sudah pun tamat. Cuma perlu menunggu keputusan peperiksaan sahaja..
Ini adalah salah satu insiden yang berlaku dalam semester pertama untuk program Ijazah Sarjana.

Nasib baiklah Dina ada, boleh la Mak Andak release tension dengan perangai manusia yang pelik-pelik dekat fakulti nun...
Layan Dina makan lagi seronok! *wink2*

For all my friends and Muslims who love to seek knowledge, this is a great reminder for us!

Programming Fever

If the assignment involves programming/coding process = My world will be up side down  :i

Still remember during UG time, me and my friends will transform into Pandas - big black round circle on the eyes due to the lack of sleep.
All because of coding and syntax problem.
Maybe this will not happen to the expert; like some of my friends whom I know are very GOOD programmer!

The nightmare of binary coding running up and down in the dream will UNFORTUNATELY happen again!

(imagine like The Matrix movie. The binary numbers [0,1] are scrolling upward and downwards. )

Need to focus and work harder since I left (not practicing) the languages for quite a long time.
This is a new level of study - nothing like UG.

Looking for a peace of mind...

p/s: I am not a multitasking person. Can't do many things (esp big thing) at the same time. 
Others can? Yes I know, but I'm not... I pray to You O Allah, to ease my way and forgive my sins.
